This report outlines the findings of the Mapping Existing Resources Activity. The insights generated in this mapping phase form an essential foundation for subsequent project steps. They serve as the evidence base for planning the focus groups research (see below) and developing the competence model (info - soon). 

Focus group research was conducted in five European countries (Hungary, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, Spain). It confirmed significant competence gaps in the second-hand sector, particularly in practical repair skills and applied AI literacy. The findings highlight a clear mismatch between theoretical sustainability education and the operational realities of circular business models, alongside the growing importance of soft skills such as digital storytelling and collaborative project management. These insights will underpin the Bridging Gaps Competence Model (info - soon).
